I am taking a surprise journey on the 11th.

Fri Nov 27, 2009, 9:53 PM
I'll be back on the 23rd. December. I'm a little worried about it, but I think there will be internet service available. If not, sorry about that. Not that I'd pay attention to this website if it did.

I kid. I'll log on as much as is humanly possible through a satellite connection in the dead of the ocean. Which will probably be, if you haven't already guessed, infrequently.

I will take awesome pictures, all of which will hopefully NOT get lost to airport security (one of the seven layers of hell).

Wish me luck. And that I don't get swine flu.

  • Mood: Nervous
  • Listening to: Radiohead- Airbag

Another update

Sun Nov 8, 2009, 8:44 PM
I posted that scrap. Just felt like making a journal about that because it seems odd leaving the other one up.

I'd love some opinions, even if they're negative. Things are so boring lately.

  • Mood: Pain
  • Listening to: Elliott Smith- Let's Get Lost
  • Reading: Something political.

Just a little update

I actually WAS Hunter S. Thompson this Halloween. It was great.

Also, I'm going to be submitting a small scrap from a hopefully larger work sometime next week.

  • Mood: Distracted
  • Listening to: Bohren & der Club of Gore- Still Am Stresen
  • Playing: Morrowind

Obligatory question

What are you all being for Halloween this year?

I'm being Hunter S. Thompson. Probably.

  • Mood: Daily Needs
  • Listening to: Joy Division- Day of the Lords
  • Eating: Cake.

The programs I use the most

Wed Oct 21, 2009, 5:59 AM
Are all named after animals.

What he hell?

Pidgin, Songbird, Firefox, and if a Gnome counts as an animal than that's a lot more. Plants make it even worse because that would include my whole operating system, Agave, and LeafPad. And when I boot Windows it has enough bugs to make a whole new ecosystem.

I'm sorry, this is so random.

  • Mood: Dumbfounded
  • Listening to: Okkervil River- For Real
  • Drinking: Coffee from a mason jar.
